CNET's Forum on Mac OS is the best source for finding help or getting troubleshooting advice from a community of experts. Discussions cover Mac OS such as Tiger, Panther, Leopard or Snow Leopard. Up until recently, there was no way to open a Microsoft Access database directly on a Mac. However, there are, at the time of writing, five apps, all available from the Mac App Store, which allow you to open and view data in Access database tables. MDB / ACCDB Viewer allows you to open Microsoft Access Databases on your Mac, regardless if they are in the older MDB or the newer ACCDB format. The app lets you view, search, and export your data. As a universal Access database viewer, it supports MDB, ACCDB, MDE and ACCDE formats.
