This utility updates the Sony Reader PRS-T2 firmware to version 1.1.00.17210 and includes the following benefit. If the Reader for Mac software starts, close Reader for Mac before continuing. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the PRS-T2Updater.dmg file to begin the installation. If I buy books from Sony I simply use the Reader software to buy and download the books, then close the application, connect my reader, and copy the book(s) straight to the reader's memory. This avoids any unfortunate synching issues.
Before you update

- This application will not uninstall nor does it require the uninstallation of Reader Library, though it is recommended that the user uninstall that application
- Upon installation and launch the User will be prompted to “migrate” their existing Reader Library contents and database into the new Reader application

- If a previous version of Reader for Mac has already been installed to your computer, launch Reader for Mac, connect your computer to the internet and select the Help - Check for updates menu and then update Reader for Mac to version 2.4.01.10241

- After reading the disclaimer, click the Download button below to download the ReaderInstaller.dmg file and save it to the desktop of your computer (recommended)
- When the download is complete, double click the ReaderInstaller.dmg file to start the installation
- Follow the instructions to complete the installation
