Before installing XPS viewer you may verify if the XPS viewer feature is turned on your computer and enable it.

To verify, follow the steps below:
a.Click theStart button, click Control Panel,click Programs, and then clickTurn Windows features on or off. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
b.To turn aWindows feature on, select the check box next to the feature. To turn aWindows feature off, clear the check box.
c.ClickOK.
d.In turnWindows features on or off window expand Microsoft .net framework 3.0.
e.Make sure XPS viewer is selected and select it .
f.Click on OK and restart the computer and latery try to install it and check if it helps.
